FAQ

How do I pick a color from an image?+

After uploading or pasting an image, hover to magnify the pixel preview, then click to lock the color and copy HEX, RGB, HSL, and more.

What is a HEX color code?+

HEX writes red, green, and blue channels in hexadecimal — for example #2596be. It is widely used in web CSS and design tools.

Are my images uploaded to a server?+

No. Picking runs locally in the browser via Canvas. Only when you intentionally use “Load from URL” does the server fetch that public image address for you.

Which color formats are supported?+

HEX, RGB, RGBA, HSL, HSLA, HSV, CMYK, and CSS variables — all one-click copyable.

Is it completely free?+

Yes. Core picking and every tool are free to use with no sign-up required.
